I am a published author as well as a produced screenwriter who has written 36 screenplays in all genres as well as 27 adaptations and a total of 82 ghostwritten books. I am currently under contract with two production companies, Cine Del Sol and Frontier Productions.

WHAT DOES A GHOSTWRITER DO ANYWAY? |
A GOOD ghostwriter takes your story idea and organizes your thoughts, materials and narrative goals to create a professionally-written book manuscript or screenplay. A GREAT ghostwriter takes your story and gives it a life and soul that will educate, inspire and entertain the reader. They will find your "voice" so that the book will be written exactly the way you would write it if you could. It is a fully collaborative relationship which includes your review and approval every step of the way. To provide structure for the project, I always begin by writing a book or script outline based on your notes or our interview. The next step is to write out the first draft, and all subsequent drafts until we reach our final draft. Of course the ghostwriter must have excellent writing skills; the ability to listen, research, interview and interpret, but they must also possess a flair for storytelling and a gift for pulling the reader into your story right from the beginning, and never letting go.

HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST ME AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE? |
Fees vary according to the length of your book or screenplay, and is based partly on the word count. For a memoir, fiction or business book, which is usually between 150-200 pages long written in Standard Publisher Format, my general range is $5,000 to $25,000 dollars if no travel is involved. A 90 - 120 minute screenplay will range between $5,000.00 and $35,000.00 dollars. Larger projects, such as novels, could require slightly higher fees depending on the type of book and research involved. But keep in mind that everything is NEGOTIABLE!
Note: Your FREE consultation will include a fee quote based on your needs and your budget. All fees are paid in four equal 25% milestones over the course of the project. I charge a flat fee which means I do not share the copyright or any royalties on book sales. The proceeds from your book or screenplay are entirely yours. My only additional fees would be for research, travel or other expenses requested by you. I work on your timeline; but you should expect that most books or screenplays will take between 3 and 6 months to complete.
